John Joseph Millarich

John Joseph Millarich was born February 28, 1957 in Seattle, WA to John and Katherine Millarich.  He passed away peacefully on April 7, 2023 in Auburn, WA.  A graveside service was held at Evergreen Memorial Park on April 14, 2023.  He is preceded in death by his parents, beloved son John, and numerous aunts and uncles.  He is survived by his wife Janet, his immediate family - sister and brother-in-law Marsha and Walt McLean, two nieces Becky (Robb) Henken and Allison Krehbiel, and great nephews and great niece, Hunter, Henry, Drew, Hayden and Hailey, Janet’s family – his in-laws, many cousins and extended family.

John lived all his life in Enumclaw, WA.  He attended Enumclaw schools and graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1975 where he was a star football player, senior class president, senior ball king and made many lifelong friends. He went to Western Washington University in Bellingham for one year and played on the football team as a kicker.  When John returned home, he had various jobs.  But the job he loved for most of his adult life was working side-by-side with his dad on the family farm in the Krain area.  There they spent many successful, hard-working years together on the property they both loved.

John was a great husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and great uncle. He loved his family and his many friends.  He had a wonderful smile, a great laugh and made you feel loved and cared about anytime you saw him, and he was so much fun!  He will be missed by so many.

His family would like to thank all those who have reached out to them with kindness, prayers, cards, flowers, food, remembrances, attended the gravesite service and lunch and especially for sharing memories and stories of a life well lived.
