John William Leggett passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on October 16, 2022 in Enumclaw, Washington. He was born on January 21, 1956 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
John graduated from Washington State University in 1979 and was proud to be a Cougar.
Because of his love of sports and writing John linked the two together and became an excellent sports writer. He also worked for fifteen years in the aerospace industry. John enjoyed serving for seven years on the Buckley City Council.
John will be remembered as a gentle person who cared deeply about his family and friends. He especially loved football and could talk your ear off about it, whether it be professional football or college football.
John led a very full life. He enjoyed traveling, especially the many trips he made to Italy with his family. He also enjoyed walking on the beach and spending time with his grandchildren. His favorite activity was reading books to them.
