Lisa Pulkrabek, 54, of Bonney Lake WA passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on December 5, 2020, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.
Services were held Tuesday December 8 at Sumner Bible Missionary Church. Sumner WA.
Lisa Margarite was born in Bismarck ND to Joseph & Emily (Fleck) Schmidt on December 5, 1966. She was raised on the family farm near Solen ND with her four older siblings and was the little blondie that completed our Schmidt family. She graduated from Solen High School in 1985.
Lisa married Randal Pulkrabek of Mandan ND on June 3rd, 1989 at Fort Ord CA, where Randal was stationed in the US Army. They moved to Washington state after Randal was discharged. Lisa was a payroll account manager for Money Tree, Seattle WA until her illness.
She loved spending time with family & friends and her beloved dog “Buddy” who passed in 2019, also with Holly, aka Lady Gaga, who would come to visit when her owners were out of town. She loved beach vacations, laying in the sun on a sandy beach with a margarita close by.
Lisa brought much joy to all who met her and will be deeply missed, but we have wonderful memories of her joyous laugh and quirky sense of humor.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband and rock, Randal (Bro). daughter Shayli, her mother, Emily Schmidt, Foley MN formerly of Bismarck ND, her sisters, Doreen (Ron) Schmidt, Foley MN, Theresa (Dave) Schaff, Enumclaw WA, her brothers, Larry (Aletha) Schmidt, Bowlus MN & Patrick (Vicki) Schmidt, Winona MN. Sisters-in-law, RaNette (Jeff) Schaff, Olympia WA, RaNelle (Myles) O’Keefe, Landsford ND, Rachelle Pulkrabek, ND, Riessa (Wade) Blumhagen, Lincoln ND, Ronda (Scott) Gangl, St Anthony ND, Raela (Aarron) Schumacher, Seattle WA.
