Lloyd Lee Livernash was born in Tacoma on October 18, 1927, to Joe and Leontine Respeleaux Livernash. When he was eight the family moved to Buckley from Mckenna. He graduated from Buckley High School in 1945. He was a stone carver in Wilkeson, a Marine and for many years a member of the Gold Age Eagle with Buckley F.O.E. He graduated from PLU in 1970 and taught school in Buckley and Carbonado. He always loved playing baseball and did so until age 83. In 2009 he was inducted into the Pierce Co. Baseball Hall of Fame. Preceded in death by his parents, his half-brother Leslie Wierleske and his first wife Laurel. He is survived by his wife Joyanne, his daughter Vickie Ward (Stan), 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his stepchildren Kevin Kelly, John Kelly, Kim Dionas (Dan), Wes Kelly (Robin), Mike Kelly (Cindy) and Kathy Lim (Leland), and 12 step grandchildren and 21 step great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Sharon Gutierrez and Lorraine Hendrickson and numerous nieces and nephews.
