Lora Jane Carroll

Lora “Jane” Edwards Carroll of Eatonville, WA passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on October 19, 2021.  Jane was a Christian woman who dedicated herself to serving the Lord with her great kindness, generosity and compassion. 

Jane was born March 3, 1933 in Red Star, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Elsie Loretta Ammons Edwards  and Thomas Scott Edwards.  She graduated from RA Long High School, Class of 1951, in Longview, WA.

She married Kenneth Lee Carroll September 6, 1951 and they were married for over 55 years before his death in March 2007. They had three children: Barbara, Beverley and Roger.  Jane and Ken provided a very loving home for their children and they all enjoyed their family trips that usually involved camping, hunting, or fishing. 

After Ken's military service they moved to Fresno, CA where both Jane and Ken were employed by the Sears Company while Ken was pursuing his college education.  In 1968 they settled in Washington where Ken went to work for Boeing while Jane continued working in Customer Service for Sears.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Beverley Gabel (Ned) and her son, Roger Carroll (Valerie Jo), her ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  Jane is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Carroll, her daughter, Barbara Brendel (Mike) her parents, her brother and her two sisters.
