Lyle Marion Roderick

Lyle was born in Mason City, Iowa on September 13, 1945 to Mary and Robert Roderick.  He traveled to Washington with his mother, brothers, and sisters as a child.  Lyle and Sandy met as teenagers in 1963 and eloped to Oklahoma City in 1965. They returned to Washington to make their home and start a family. Michael Dean was born in November 1966, Michele Ann in September 1968, and Marla Lynn in September 1974.  Lyle served in the United States Army.  He worked hard all his life and retired as a Teamster and Longshoreman. 

Lyle leaves to cherish his loving memory his beloved wife Sandy; son Michael; daughters Michele and Marla; six grandchildren who were the light of his life: Jessica, Shelby, Kevin, Summer, Quentin and Deven.  He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren with all his heart.  He was preceded in death by his dear grandmother Marie Holman, mother, father, four brothers and three sisters.  Lyle was loved and will be remembered fondly by the many people he met on life’s journey.

There will be a committal service held at Tahoma National Cemetery.
