Margaret "Margie" (McKay) Buckholdt

Margaret Helen “Margie” Buckholdt died January 9, 2020 in Auburn, Washington. She was born January 28, 1941 in Seattle, Washington to John and Mary (Brooke) McKay. Margie met her husband Steve while washing his motorcycle. Their first date and their honeymoon were both bike rides. Over the years they traveled by motorcycle all over the Western U.S. Margie loved spending time with her family. Her hobbies included gardening, reading, and genealogy.

Margie is survived by her loving husband, Steve; beloved children, Lynette (Todd) Hutchinson and Dean Jones; 4 cherished grandchildren; and her Doberman Winston.

A visitation will be held from 11 am-1 pm on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Weeks' Enumclaw Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park at 2 pm.

A Celebration of Life Open House will be held from 1-5 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the family home.
