Marge Jean Stormo

Marge Stormo was born in Everett, WA on a cold November day in 1936. She died 85 years later on May 21,2022 on a beautiful sunshining day at her home in Enumclaw, WA. It was one of those “God-Given Days” as she called them. A resident of Enumclaw since 2014, Marge was a volunteer at several local organizations including the Senior Center, Chamber of Commerce, Plateau Outreach Ministries, and Hope Lutheran Church. Quick with a friendly wave or warm greeting, Marge’s outgoing personality was fun to be around. Fiercely proud of her Norwegian heritage, she usually found a cute way of working her Norsky blood into any conversation. That, and her little fur baby, “Millie” an adorable mini-schnauzer, along with her sister “Daisey” a sweet cocker spaniel who died previously. Marge packed a lot of living and loving into her 85 years. Professionally, she was a bookkeeper for several nonprofit organizations. She married young and had four children by the time she was 28 years old (Charmaine, Ron, Jim & Jeff). Marge said that she loved being a mother, and today her family includes many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marge also loved travel adventures. After she retired, she travelled as much as possible. She swam the Barrier Reef, climbed the Eiffel Tower, the Egyptian Pyramids, and flew in a helicopter over Mt. St. Helen’s after it erupted. Throughout her life, Marge lived in several states including Illinois, Ohio, Minnesota, California, Idaho, and Florida, but Washington State was her home. On the morning of May 21st, 2022, Marge made her final journey home to be with her Savior Jesus. Marge will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Marge is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her sister, and many friends and relatives.
