Marydale Brooks

Marydale Brooks, 74, of Buckley, Washington died April 12, 2018, at her home.  She was born August 20, 1943, to Clarence and Mary Brooks in Grenada, Mississippi. 
She was a philanthropist contributing regularly to the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation, White River School District, and other organizations.  When she saw a need for social services in Buckley, she helped start White River Community Outreach.  She was an Eagles member.  She enjoyed vegetable gardening and would spend hours with her brother canning her crops.

Marydale is survived by her brother, Tom Brooks of Buckley, her nieces, Misha (Mark) Randall of Seattle and Rachel (Richard) Lugo of Sumner, and her nephew, Joseph Brooks of Tacoma.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence D. Brooks and Mary A. Brooks.
