Michael Joseph Plewnarz

It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Plewnarz announce his passing on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the age of 63. Michael was born November 19, 1959, in Puyallup, Washington, to Joseph and Mary (Solar) Plewnarz.

Michael attended White River High School in Buckley, Washington and completed his general equivalency education at Spokane Community College.  While in Spokane, Michael worked in retail customer service and facilities management. After moving to Bonney Lake, he worked alongside wastewater specialists at the Center for Urban Waters in Tacoma, Washington. He enjoyed classic cars, spending time with his sons and grandson, and relaxing while being outdoors. He had just attended his 45th class reunion.

Michael will be remembered warmly by his mother, Mary Plewnarz, sons Michael Plewnarz (Emily) and Garrett Plewnarz (Melanie), brothers Steven and Paul (Linda), grandson Leon and a great many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Edward Plewnarz.

A memorial commemoration will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley, Washington.
