With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Michael Anthony Valles, Jr. on August 26, 2023, in Auburn, Washington. Born on May 14, 2001, in Auburn, Washington to his loving parents, Michael Anthony Valles, Sr., and Suzy Haugen, Michael’s journey touched the lives of many.
Mikey’s spirit was enlivened by his passions. Video games provided him with a world of adventure and imagination, comedies brought laughter to his days, and music resonated in his heart. These were the threads that wove the moments of joy in his life.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Michael Valles, Sr. and Suzy Haugen, who nurtured and raised him. Mikey’s sisters, Monique Valles, Isabella Valles, and Pearl Valles, shared a bond that transcends time and space, and his memory will forever be their cherished treasure.
In the embrace of grief, the warmth of family remains. Michael's grandparents, Monti Lozier, and Betty and Bob Haugen, held him dear, as did his uncles, James Valles, Zack Valles, and Luis Mendoza, and aunts, Maria Mendoza, Barbara Haugen, and Jennie Haugen.
While the pain of his absence weighs heavy, we find solace in knowing that Michael has reunited with those who have gone before him. He joins his great-grandparents, Frank and Elma Lozier and Gladys and Walter Haugen, in the realm beyond.

A viewing is scheduled for August 30, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley. The funeral service will be held August 31, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Muckleshoot Shaker Church.
