Born on October 6th 1928 in Seattle to parents George and Cecilia Bobb and raised in South Seattle. Norene was the youngest of 4 siblings. After moving to San Francisco CA, She graduated college with a major in education. There she met “Jimmy” who was in the Army, fell in love and married. The life of a military wife began and off they went. Numerous army stations which Germany was her favorite. Over the years she had five children.
She eventually ended up in Lake Tapps, started a farm with her husband and children then began teaching for Dieringer School District, where she later retired. She loved to travel, which was always done by vehicle. She would never fly, “no way no how.” She always thought she was blessed that she was raised in the Pacific Northwest and the Lord had been good to her.
She always said that the best part of her life was living on a farm, raising her children and teaching them good values and hard work, she loved “Every minute of it!” She would always think of others before herself. Always willing to help someone get back on their feet and if they fell, help them again. She thought everyone had good in them and anyone could change with the right help or nudge. She never gave up on anyone and always had a positive attitude. She had a great sense of humor and is survived by 5 children, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2021.
