Patricia "Patsy" Lorraine (Schoordyk) Mulder

Patricia “Patsy” Lorraine Mulder, age 87, died December 23, 2018. She was born July 4, 1931 in Kent to Pete and Nellie Schoordyk. Raised on the family dairy farm, Patsy graduated from Auburn High School. Patsy moved to Enumclaw 66 years ago after marrying Nick Mulder on September 5, 1952. Nick and Patsy spent their early years together starting a family and a dairy farm of their own in Enumclaw. Patsy worked for several years at Bethesda Manor Nursing Home and at Jayhawks, both in Enumclaw. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed by her family.

Patsy is survived by her daughters Cynthia Pellum of Buckeye, AZ and Vicky (Stephen) Walters of Enumclaw; brother Pete (Sharon) Schoordyk of Selah, WA; sister Elsie Parkin of Black Diamond; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas “Nick” Mulder, son Daniel “Dan” Mulder and brother-in-law Bill Parkin.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park. Donations in Patsy’s honor may be made to the Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation, 7525 SE 24th St., Mercer Island, WA 98040 or www.nwpf.org.
