Ruth M. Hartill

Ruth M. Hartill, 95, died June 18, 2018 in Enumclaw. She was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on December 26, 1922. Ruth was married to W.O. Hartill, Sr. for 51 years. Together they made a home on a dairy farm in Enumclaw. Ruth was involved in the King County and Washington State Dairy Wives. In her younger years Ruth enjoyed square dancing with her husband. She loved country music and was and excellent cook and baker.

Ruth is survived by her son, Wilburn O. Hartill, Jr. (Jackie) of Renton; daughters, Adelia DeLisa of Enumclaw and Lydia Umbaugh (Curt) of Ravensdale; grandchildren: Mathew Hartill, Jennifer Jewell, Brian DeLisa, Amy Krusius, and Erika Umbaugh; great grandchildren: Amanda DeLisa, Merissa DeLisa, Alex Krusius, Michael Krusius, and Carmina Umbaugh. She was preceded in death by her husband.

At her request no services will be held. Ruth will be laid to rest beside her husband at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park. Remembrances may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest, 2311 N. 45th St. #134, Seattle, WA 98103 or the Humane Society, 13212 SE Eastgate Way, Bellevue, WA 98005.
