Sheila Connie Griffin

Sheila Connie (Reeder) Griffin 74 passed away in her Buckley, Washington home on October 2, 2021. She was born in Kent, Washington on June 18, 1947, to Garland Everett and Barbara Louise (Taylor) Reeder. She attended Kent Meridian High School and Astoria High School in Astoria, Oregon.  Sheila married the love of her life John Dewey Griffin Jr. on April 3, 1965. While raising her children she also worked alongside her husband for 25 years as an award-winning hostess in several Kentucky Fried Chicken stores in the area. She also worked for several years as a cashier in the gas station convenience store in South Prairie. She always felt proudest of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children Dawn Kimberly Garrett of Buckley, Washington, Barbara Mae Riffero of Buckley, Washington and John Dewey Griffin of Baker City, Oregon. Sheila is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren whom she loved with a passion.
