Sherry Jo (Vanlandingham) Voight

Sherry Jo Voight (Vanlandingham) was born September 7, 1952, in Muleshoe, Texas. She went home to be with the lord on September 20, 2023.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents Edgar and Lillian Vanlandingham; brothers Roy, Loyal (Ray), Fred, and Ron Vanlandingham; and sister Elaine Clatterbaugh. 

She is survived by husband David Voight of Enumclaw; her sister Lois (Ed) Osborn of Enumclaw; children Rhiannon (Brian) Drake of Idaho; and Ryan (Kelsey) Voight of Enumclaw. She also had two stepsons, Jeremy (Jennifer) Voight and Kyle (Amanda) Voight. Sherry had several grandchildren/great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. 

Sherry’s family moved to Enumclaw when she was a young girl. She graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1971 and raised her family in Enumclaw. She was a dedicated volunteer with the Wolverine Jr. Football program for many years and she worked in Food Services for the Enumclaw School District until she retired. Sherry loved her family, dogs, quilting, cooking and canning. 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 4, 2023, at 2 pm at the Men’s Clubhouse at the Enumclaw Golf Course. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Franciscan Hospice, or the Dementia Society of America.
