Steve Callison Obituary

On May 13, 2021 Steve Callison passed away at the age of 60, in Auburn, WA. He is survived by his son Chase; his mother Judy; and his two brothers William and Mathew. Born in San Jose, CA in 1961 to Terry and Judy Callison, he was raised in Los Altos, CA and attended high school in Sunnyvale, CA and Enumclaw, WA.

Steve loved his son Chase very much, and he will be dearly missed. He was a good golfer and was better than most of his family. Steve’s favorite place to play was in Coeur d’Alene, but he was a familiar figure at many courses around the area. He loved hunting and left behind a number of racks from his adventures. A good skier, Steve enjoyed a day at Crystal Mountain, in snow or sun. In 1980 he traveled around the world with a backpack and a sleeping bag.

Throughout his life Steve enjoyed his family, and his friends. He loved to laugh and never missed a chance to watch classic western movies (especially anything with John Wayne). He had a deep love for the Seahawks, Mariner’s, and Huskies. Sundays were Seahawk Sundays for Steve.

Steve was preceded in death by his sister Jennifer in 2001. His father Terry Callison passed recently, on July 14, 2021. There will be a celebration of life service for Steve and his father Terry in September 2021 at the Enumclaw Men’s Club.
