Thomas Rudenick

Thomas (Tom) Walter Rudenick passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, November 21, 2020 at Harborview Hospital in Seattle following a massive stroke. He was 69 years old. Tom was born to Walter and Gladys Rudenick on September 13, 1951 in Seattle. He was the youngest of four children. Tom’s family moved from Seattle to Enumclaw in 1956. He loved hunting and trapping, fishing, gold panning, skiing, and Studebakers. He also enjoyed drawing house plans and working on inventions. Tome worked at Boeing and the tide flats in Tacoma. He worked for many years as a carpenter and a maintenance manager for apartment complexes in Enumclaw. Tom was very involved with the God Mobile Ministry and several churches. He loved sharing God’s Word wherever he went. His greatest joy was in spending time with his daughter Whitney. They enjoyed road trips to his property in Chelan, watching old movies, shopping watching the Seahawks, and making grandma’s tuna noodle hotdish. Many times Tom would say to Whitney that her wallet looked too thin and then give her a twenty to put in it. He was a gracious and understanding father. He will be greatly missed.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Gladys Rudenick and his daughter Elizabeth Rudenick. He is survived by his daughter Whitney Rudenick of Enumclaw; sister Marilyn (Jerry) Larson of Seattle; brother Brian (Marge) Rudenick of Colorado; and sister Renee Zeiger of Monroe.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 1:30pm at Grace Point Northwest Church, 28121 SE 448th Street, Enumclaw, WA 98022. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to GodMobile Ministry, c/o Claudia Shirey, 718 Griffin Ave, #335, Enumclaw, WA 98022.
