Thursa (Auntie Sis) loved her extended family, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She loved nature and animals, with an ardent love of horses. She even delivered the Seattle Times on horseback. She and her sister Doris spent many hours on horseback riding all over the Redmond, Kirkland, and Bellevue area. Thursa also had thoroughbreds at Longacres.
