Tressa E. Henrichs

Tressa Henrichs passed away July 2, 2021 in Enumclaw at the age of 98. She was born May 28, 1923 in George, Lyon County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Louie and Dena (Stubbe) Peters. Tressa attended rural school in Midland Township. On May 29, 1941 she married Henry “Wes” Henrichs. They lived in George, Iowa until 1951 when they moved to Enumclaw. Tressa worked at Rainer School in Buckley, Mutual of Enumclaw, and Gronviks Appliance in Enumclaw. Wesley and Tressa loved going to Reno and playing bingo around this area. Wesley passed away in 1990. In 1993 Tressa married Herbert Herding of Little Rock, Iowa. After Herbert passed away in 2003, Tressa moved to Buckley to be closer to her children.

Tressa is survived by two sons, Laverl “Fritz” Henrichs (Janyce) of Enumclaw and Don Henrichs (Gale) of Spokane; one daughter, Barbara Kosko (Alan) of Bonney Lake; six grandchildren, Shelly Buzca (Mike), Kelly Kosko (Laura), Wesley Kosko (Kelly), Shannon Skagen (Jeff), Mike Henrichs (Diana), and Steve Henrichs; ten great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; one stepson, Kevin Herding; one stepdaughter, Burnetta DeLiew; and six step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; two infant daughters; four brothers; and one sister.

At her request there will be no service. Tressa will be laid to rest at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park. Please share a memory on the tribute wall.
